Welp, Sandy came through and put the hurt on us. I got off extremely lucky with just an occasional light flicker, so my heart goes out to all the people still without power and other necessities.
I feel a little guilty, my biggest problem was the shutdown of the MTA had me pretty much stranded and unable to reach my day job, but then I think about how much worse it could have been and I'm very grateful.
